LOVE GIVES FOUNDATION’s Healthcare for All Program, and other Specialized Services program aims to make sure that no one is denied healthcare because of financial constraints in the rural areas. These services are geared towards children under 18 years and the elderly folks who are 60 years and above as well as the disabled of all ages, to help improve life efficacy in the rural communities.
We do this by paying for the yearly subscription for Health Insurance through Ghana’s National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) so that people in the rural communities will have access to basic healthcare.
With economic hardships compounded by the covid-19 pandemic, the informal sectors in Ghana especially the good people in the rural communities have less interest investing in their health when they have to worry about what to eat. The adverse result of this has been chilling stories of denied healthcare treatments and deaths which could easily have been prevented if folks had Health Insurance.
Love Gives Foundation is committed to making sure the vulnerable in the society has access to basic healthcare by paying for their health Insurance for the year.
